Dr. Dan Olson Bio

My name is Dr. Daniel R. Olson. Most people call me Dan or Dr. Dan. I grew up in Holdingford, MN, a small town about 30 miles northwest of St. Cloud, MN. My hometown is quite small, boasting a whopping population of six hundred and change.

Growing up in a small community has helped me to develop the down to earth attitude, work ethic and morality I have toward health and patient care. I understand that my patients' health is important to them and I am willing to go the extra mile (or hour) to help them to meet their goals.

My undergraduate study was at St. John's University in Collegeville, MN from 1994-1998. I earned a BA degree in Human Biology, while minoring in Philosophy. I was also part of a four-year intramural dynasty, which included four football championships and eight basketball championships.

I earned my doctorate degree in chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2004. In doing so I graduated from one of the finest chiropractic colleges in the world. In addition to the formal schooling I received at Northwestern, I have attended countless seminars regarding the function of the human body and how chiropractic can help it. Further, I have become exposed to a number of new state of the art treatment methods in chiropractic and have become an expert in spinal function. My philosophy on chiropractic can be summed up in a phrase, "structure begets function." I believe in the body's "innate," or "inborne" ability to heal itself. I believe that this power was manufactured and supplied by God. The very power that made the body can heal the body. However, this innate power can be altered by interruptions in the communication between the brain and the body. It is my job to help my patients to reach their full potential, so that their bodies can function efficiently and heal themselves. The bottom line is: the body works better without nerve interference than it does with nerve interference.

I live in Blaine, with my wife Elizabeth and our beautiful children, Gavin and Emma.  I look forward to serving you through serving The Lord in an honest, caring and down to earth way! Come visit us at Olson Bros. Chiropractic Where "Our Family Serves Yours.
